Fashion Personalities
There are 5 basic fashion personalities that can be used to describe someone’s personal style: sporty, romantic, classic, dramatic and natural.
The sporty fashion personality is described as someone who is outgoing, exuberant, enjoys activity and making things happen. They typically wear athletic clothing that is comfortable and casual. This personalities fabric preferences would include cotton, spandex, French terry cloth, mesh, ripstop and tencel and prefer bright and primary colors. Short and easy-to-care-for hairstyles help to complete the overall look.
Pink is a good example of the sporty fashion personality.
The romantic fashion personality is described as someone who is warmhearted, sensitive, melancholic, idealistic, loyal, detail-orientated and people-oriented. This person would typically wear clothing that is delicate and very feminine. Fabrics that would appeal to the romantic fashion personality include lace, eyelet, brocade, peau de soie and chiffon and their preferred colors would include white, pastels and other soft colors. Hairstyles consisting of soft curls and flowing long locks help complete the overall look.

The classic fashion personality describes someone who is traditional, efficient, organized, thoughtful, matter-of-fact, responsible and dependable.
